Casa Tranquila was designed around a simple idea: slow down and relax. Working with a tight $20K budget for the interior and exterior, we focused on high quality pieces featuring natural textures and colors. With a second living space to work with, we saw an opportunity to add a game room and increase guest capacity, so we brought in a sleeper sofa and painted every wall a deep olive green, moody but still relaxing. It's the kind of space that photographs well and lives even better, proof that a tight budget and a bold design choice aren't mutually exclusive. The result: 5 bookings in the first 24 hours live.
